A documentary about the early Red Hot Chili Peppers ~ and the guitarist most people never got to know. Hillel Slovak died in 1988 at 26, before the band became what it became. Thirty years of a life that didn't happen. This is his bandmates and friends remembering someone they never stopped missing. It doesn't feel like a documentary. It feels like pulling up a chair and listening to people talk about someone they loved.
